You're probably wondering how I got into this situation, and to be honest I wish I could answer that for you. One day I was at home then the next I was sucked into this world of humans and yokai and told by the Merciful Goddess to join these weirdos on their quest as a prophet because I knew things that were going to happen and needed to help them make it to India.
And I did, trying to use my knowledge of the story to prevent unnecessary death and destruction but y'know these boys are stubborn and don't always wanna listen to their goddess-appointed prophet.
I'm trying, okay?

Osana Kubo aka Hellbender

Quirk: Salamander
Age: 20.
Relationships: Girlfriend of Tamaki Amajiki

Osana shares many traits with various breeds of salamander. She is able to breathe through her skin while under water and also hold her breath for extended periods while expending limited energy.
She is able to secrete a thick mucus from all points on her skin (except her palms and the bottoms of her feet) which is very slippery and makes her nearly impossible to hold on to.
Additionally, she can lose any limb or area of her body not including a vital organ and regrow it within a matter of weeks or months. This includes her tail, which she can also purposefully drop if captured. However, while regrowing body parts she becomes extremely hungry and lethargic.

Status: UA Graduate, Professional Sidekick

She is currently a sidekick at the Inertellar Hero Agency, and hopes to one day be a Professional Hero. She prefers to keep out of the spotlight and is not a fan of the media, but is not so unknown that she could be considered 'underground' like heroes such as Eraserhead.

Fun Fact about Osana: When she starts drinking she's almost embarrassingly sex-positive and also horny. Like she's horny a lot of the time but when she's drinking she doesn't try to hide it. Before she and Tamaki were dating Osana was out drinking with a friend and she was just loudly proclaiming how badly she wanted to sit on Tamaki's face.
Fun Fact #2: Although he was only a teacher during her final year at UA, Aizawa had a profound affect on Osana and how she saw heroes. He pushed her harder than any other teacher ever had, never taking a missing tail as an excuse for her lethargy or low effort at training exercises. While at first she hated him, she eventually came to understand that what he was doing was for the best and she thanks him for helping her be a better hero.

Kaitva Leucosia

Kaitva's past is a mystery mostly because she doesn't want to explain it and nobody cares enough to pry. She arrived on Leviathan when the small lifeboat she was riding in was scooped up by Jemina Joy and claimed for what little wood it had. This left the young woman to wander the streets of the city with no money and no knowledge of what the hell to do.
After some number of nights she entered the Gold Gardens, hoping to use the large crowds as cover to pickpocket enough money for food, was immediately approached by Garthy O'Brien who was easily able to tell that she was not from Leviathan. After some talking and many promises that the only payment they would need would be in the form of her company and some stories about her life, ("They don't have to be true, just make them interesting"), Kaitva was given a free meal and the two of them spent much of the evening talking and sharing stories.
They became friends soon after, and Garthy provided Kaitva with a job as a bartender in exchange for letting her sleep in one of the 2gp/night rooms the Gold Gardens offers. Then, with a little bit of alcohol in her and unable to deny her attraction to the gorgeous half-orc aasimar, Kaitva made her move on Garthy and is happy to be one of their dearest friends and lovers.

Fun Fact about Kaitva: Her wings are not completely black. They are speckled black, grey, and white. They are modeled after the Gibson's Albatross, which is a seabird said to bring bad luck to sailors who would harm it.

Katsuya Omoiyari

Katsuya met Takuto in his final year of university, her second to last year, after hearing about his plans to research the cognitive world. She actually first ran into him when he was drinking alone the night after finding out his funding was being pulled for no apparent reason, which Katsuya agreed was bullshit and so in solidarity she bought him another drink and they complained about academia for a while.
Then Takuto was very drunk and Katsuya helped him back to his apartment, left a bottle of painkillers and a glass of water on his nightstand, and left a note with her name and number so he wasn't wondering who the hell got him home.
They've been close friends ever since.
Katsuya can't say when she really fell for Takuto- it was really a long series of small moments that made it happen. But she knew, on a surface level, what had happened with him an Rumi and that he still loved her, so she didn't want to push and risk losing her good friend. And since he's quite an oblivious person sometimes, Takuto never noticed.
When first seeing Maruki's palace and his vision for the future, Katsuya was excited. She thought it was beautiful and perfect and nearly cried with happiness. But after realizing how much he was pushing his will on others, she awoke to her persona Shub-Niggurath, which then evolved into Keter during the fight with Adam Kadmon.
Some months later, possibly over a year, Takuto realized he had feelings for Katsuya, and when confronting her was shocked to find out that the person she had been pining after for years was him.
At least it all worked out eventually.

Nicole "Nicky" or "Nick" Miller

Abilities: Tarot Card Readings, able to communicate with spirits.
Age: Depends on the chapter. Same age as Sal.
Relationships: Friend and eventual girlfriend of Sal Fisher

Nicky lived in Nockfell before Sal moved there, and he became good friends with he, Larry, and the others of the group when they all started school that year and were lumped together as the weird kids. Raised by a hippie single mom who became a single mom on purpose, Nicky was always encouraged to be herself no matter how weird that was in the eyes of society. Her style is relatively gothpunk, but she also mixes a lot of pink into her style.
Having always felt a connection to the world of spirits, Nicky is easily able to communicate with the ghosts in Addison Apartments when Sal and Larry introduce her to them. She's also a practiced tarot-card reader, and through the years progressed from simple three card readings to ones of more complex configurations. Even as a young teenager, though, her predictions are almost always accurate.
Despite her reputation around school Nick had a consistent flow of short-term partners during her teenage years. After graduation, she and Sal confessed their feelings for each other and have since then been in a happy, steady relationship.
Nicky was the first person Sal called after the mass murder at Addison Apartments, and his staunchest supporter during his arrest, trial, and imprisonment. Having been witness to all the strange happenings discovered over the years she knew that everything Sal said was true. The media branded her as insane, and in the end she was the only witness to Sal's execution by electric chair.
Using Todd's notes, she was able to piece together the prophecy after nearly two years of careful research, what it meant, and what needed to be done to prevent it. Using what she learned she resurrected first Sal, then Larry, the three of them taking down the Devourers of God before their ritual could commence. Then they packed up their shit and got the fuck out of Nockfell because that is not a place to be when 2 people in your crew are legally dead.
(Also, not only are Larry and Sal alive, but so are Maple, Neil, and Travis, because fuck that.)
